Grants available for Queensland small businesses impacted by lockdown.

If your business has been impacted by the recent Queensland lockdown, you may be eligible for financial support through the 2021 COVID-19 Business Support Grants.

The $5000 grants (excluding GST) are available to small and medium businesses across Queensland affected by the COVID-19 lockdown that commenced on Saturday 31 July 2021.

These grants are aimed to provide cash flow support for businesses to help them adapt to the current evolving circumstances.

Are you eligible?

To receive a final support grant, you must be an employing small and medium businesses residing in Queensland, that has experienced at least a 30% reduction in turnover as a result of the lockdown that commenced on the 31 July 2021.

Small and medium businesses are defined as having a turnover of more than $75,000 per annum and an annual payroll in Queensland of up to $10 million.

Grants are also available for large businesses in the hospitality and tourism industries currently operating in the 11 local government areas in lockdown.  

How to apply?

To apply online you will require supporting documentation. Grants will be processed in the order received.

Grants funds will be paid within 2 weeks of being notified that your application has been approved.
